Miles for Mamas 5k

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us for the Miles for Mamas 5K, a community fundraiser organized by our church in Fall 2024! This exciting race not only promotes fitness and community but also serves a greater purpose. Our mission is to raise funds to sponsor postpartum care for mothers in need. We hope to see you on the track for this exciting day!

  • Time: Race begins at 9 AM

  • Venue: Ruby Grant Park (3110 W Franklin Road Norman, OK 73072)
  • Entrance: Off 36th Ave NW

Parking

  • Details: Ample parking is available at the north entrance pavilion of the park (3110 W Franklin Rd, Norman, OK 73072 ). Volunteers will be on-site to assist with directions and parking arrangements.

Race Details

  • Distance: 5 kilometers (≈ 3.1 miles)
  • Participants: Open to runners and walkers of all ages and competitive levels
  • Timing: Official timing will be provided
  • Race Bibs: Pick up at registration desk on the day of the event
  • Post-Race Results: Race results will be posted online and at the event. Stay tuned for details on how to access the results.

The Mission

  • In collaboration with 'Perfect Peace Physical Therapy,' a business specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of mothers in our community. Our goal is to sponsor more than 10 mothers, providing them with essential postpartum care. Join us as we run, walk, and come together to support the health and well-being of mothers in our community.
